Born in Boulder, Colorado,

Grant Kaufman is a director of photography with a passion for collaborative storytelling.

His journey into filmmaking began at a young age, inspired by the artistry he observed in restaurant environments. During his time at the Denver School of the Arts, Grant embraced the role of cinematographer, contributing to over twenty short films and music videos before graduating high school. He is currently pursuing a BFA in Cinematography at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, class of 2025.

Grant's work has gone on to be featured in film festivals around the world and has won numerous awards and recognition from prestigious film institutes such as the Directors Guild of America and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. When not on set, Grant enjoys playing drums in his prog-rock band and attending basketball games with his family.
